Your
choice for dental care with us....
Over the
last few years there has been a move away from NHS dentistry
generally, and we in particular, feel we cannot provide our
patients with the level of dental care we know is right within
its restrictions.
The
latest technology...
We have
always been at the forefront of our profession with the latest
restorative and preventive treatment plans using technically
advanced equipment. We use ultrasonics and the recently introduced
micro abrasives often replacing the use of the air drill.
We offer sedation techniques for those new patients who feel
apprehensive when requiring treatment. A combination of these
new technologies are used with which we do try to make it
easier for our patients.
Maintaining
your appearance...
We are
interested in preserving our patient's dentition taking particular
care in achieving a balanced functional occlusion restoring
lost dentition with Crown and Bridgework and now we are able
to offer the latest osseointegrated Dental Implants where
suitable. We have no doubts that providing and preserving
a balanced set of teeth contributes to a patients general
good health.
Many people
go through life with various aches, pains, etc. never realising
that their dental condition is the cause.
Amalgam
free practice
We do not use amalgam for fillings any more
as the toxicity of mercury and its possible link with various
illness has been well documented. Modern Adhesives bonding
porcelain and composite resin fillings are excellent in giving
us an alternative restorative technique. Indeed, patients
welcome this because no longer do they have to accept dark
silver fillings in their mouth, so appearance wise it is a
big plus. I have been a great believer in gold inlays on posterior
teeth as I have many patients with my inlays in place over
25 years with no deterioration. The new white porcelain and
composite inlays are superseding these, patients of course
preferring the natural tooth colour.
The
importance of time...
It is
easy to pick up the telephone and call us on 023
8033 5155 or, if you prefer the convenience of
the electronic age, please fill
out our electronic appointment form.
By giving us some basic contact details and your preferred
days/times for appointments, our receptionist will be happy
to call you at a convenient time and arrange an appointment.
We are
sure you will recognise and appreciate our extra-care approach
to your dental needs.
We look
forward to seeing you,
Regards
Richard
